Longtime Family Preservation Professional and Kansas Native to Take on New Role
The Family Initiative, Inc. (TFI) is pleased to announce Lindsey Miller, LMSW, as the new Director of Family Preservation for the Southwest Kansas Region.
Miller has worked in family preservation for numerous years, promoting the well-being of children and families and emphasizing the importance of prevention services. As a Southwest Kansas native, she is familiar with the environment and family dynamics in the area.
“Lindsey has a wealth of knowledge and experience, and I am excited to see her grow in her career,” said Donna Rozzell, vice president of family services. “Her leadership, compassion and positive engagement of those around is key in providing support to help strengthen family relationships.”
In her new role, Miller will manage the Family Preservation program in Southwest Kansas, building on family strengths and reducing the risk of children being placed in foster care. She will also coordinate with staff from other agencies involved in providing family preservation services.
Miller earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Emporia State University, a Bachelor of Science in Addiction Counseling and a Master of Social Work from Fort Hays State University.
