ASAP is a service provided to families who have finalized their adoption and are potentially at risk of a dissolution. TFI ASAP provides collaborative efforts with DCCCA and KPARC to provide case management services, referral to resources, respite and crisis outreach. TFI also specializes in connecting adoptive parents to support groups and in-person, on-demand and virtual trainings on topics including Trust Based Relational Intervention, how to talk with your child about their adoption story, tips for achieving open adoptions, addressing awkward adoption questions, and transracial parenting.
